This year, breast cancer hit very close to home for us and we felt compelled to organize an event that would not only celebrate women but also raise funds for cancer research and support in our community.
Please join us at the Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby, Ontario June 7, 2011, for Stilettos for the Cure. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Stilettos for the Cure will feature both a live & silent stiletto auction, dozens of door prizes, sumptuous food, dazzling swag bags and many special surprises. Our goal is to raise funds and awareness about breast cancer and to encourage every woman to book a mammogram.
Help us make a difference in the lives of the women in our community who are being treated for and surviving breast cancer and come out and enjoy a night to remember.
Tickets go on sale March 1, 2011. Proceeds will go to the Heather Griffith Breast Assessment Centre!

Heather Griffith Breast Assessment Centre:
The Heather Griffith Breast Assessment Centre will bring comprehensive breast cancer services under one roof and support women in Durham Region — improving their access to care and enhancing their pathway to treatment.
The aim of the Breast Assessment Centre is to obtain a definitive diagnosis of all potential screen-detected or clinical abnormalities in a timely manner.
The Centre’s goal is to reassure women without a significant breast problem as quickly as possible, and to diagnosis and treat women with cancer without delay. For those touched by breast cancer, it will change their experience with the disease and improve the quality and longevity of their lives.

Every week, 437 Canadian Women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
Chances are, someone you love has had to fight this terrible disease:
a friend, sister, mother or daughter...maybe even you.
From now until May 31 we will be accepting donations of new or barely used heels or dress sandals for our silent and live auction.
